About the Office

Mission

The primary mission of the Office of Academic Grants and Sponsored Research (OAGSR), part of College Advancement, is three-fold:

1) To partner with faculty, chairs, deans, and administrators as they seek external resources from private and public agencies, corporations, foundations, associations, and other organizations in support of their academic, research, and scholarly endeavors.

2) To provide leadership and assistance in increasing external funding to support collegewide efforts for enhancing the overall mission of the College, especially programming, research, teaching, learning, and outreach.

3) To serve as a resource and point of contact for college, state, and federal regulations as they pertain to grant and other externally-sponsored funding.
